Benjamin Moore Color of the Year 2024, Blue Nova 825 and accent colors near Montclair NJ

Benjamin Moore Color of the Year 2024

Near the close of each year, Benjamin Moore releases its Color of the Year and Color Trends Palette for the upcoming year. In 2024, we’ll see a deep, moody color – Blue Nova 825 – taking center stage. Blue Nova 825 takes a different direction than last year’s Raspberry Blush 2008-30, but we love it just as much. Red Star Paint is excited to introduce you to the Benjamin Moore Color of the Year 2024, Blue Nova 825.

Bringing Blue Nova 825 Into Your Home

Blue Nova 825 is a stunning combination of blue and violet that will ramp up the drama in any space. The shade inspires exploration of your creative side and exercises your imagination. If the color is too much for your taste, try using it on an accent wall. You can also use Blue Nova 825 on the trim in a room painted with the complementary colors Quincy Tan HC-25 or Paper White 1590 to create fabulous contrast.

Exploring the Color Trends Palette 2024

The Color Trends Palette 2024 consists of 10 captivating colors that you can use alone or in combination with other members of the palette. You’re familiar with Blue Nova 825, so let’s get to know the other colors!

  • White Dove OC-17: A clean, classic white that pairs well with nearly any color, from the deep gray of Kendall Charcoal HC-166 to the rich burgundy of Country Redwood HC-183.
  • Pristine OC-75: A delicate off-white with dusty rose undertones, Pristine OC-75 looks excellent with medium beige Pensive AF-140 or the contemporary hue, Van Courtland Blue HC-145.
  • Topaz 070: This deep orange with brown and red undertones is directly across from blue on the color wheel, meaning you can use Topaz 070 and Blue Nova 825 in the same space for outstanding contrast and a fun aesthetic.
  • Honeybee CSP-950: This soft, versatile yellow is an excellent choice for color-drenching a space or pairing with a muted cream like Mannequin Cream OC-92 for an understated colorscape.
  • Teacup Rose 2170-50: An exciting blend of pink and coral, Teacup Rose 2170-50 is a perfect accent for deep, nearly black shades like Day’s End 2133-30 or a pale gray, like Sheep’s Wool 857.
  • Regent Green 2136-20: A deep pine that is precariously close to black, Regent Green 2136-20 is a statement-making shade that breaks the humdrum of everyday life when you pair it with the pumpkin orange of Jack O’Lantern 2156-30.
  • Antique Pewter 1560: A touch of gray brings a patina-like appearance to this rich shade of green. Use Antique Pewter 1560 with the delicate blush hue of Tissue Pink 1163 to create a soft space that is easy on the eyes.
  • Polar Sky 1674: A pale, crisp blue that looks fantastic with warm and cool colors. Warm Polar Sky 1674 up with the delicate orange glow of Handmade AF-325, or cool it down with Stonewashed 865, a clean with the slightest cast of bright blue.
  • Hazy Lilac 2116-40: A moody, midtone violet with a hint of gray. Create a monochromatic look with the light violet undertones of Hampshire Rocks 1450 or a sophisticated appearance with the neutral silvery gray of Silver Dollar 1460.
